Elche Coach Fran Escriba has questioned the commitment of his players in the 3-1 defeat to Espanyol on Sunday.
Escriba told reporters after the match that he has had no problems with his players’ approach, until now.
“I’ve never had to tell my team to give everything because they always do, but after the break we had no such feeling.
“I’m the first to admit I was wrong on many things. We’ll study this and come to conclusions, many negative but some positive. During the first half we were very bad.”
