Real Betis are talking with Antonio Adan about signing the goalkeeper to a new contract despite Adan only arriving in January.
Adan was signed after an unhappy two-month spell in Serie with Cagliari and told Betis, bottom of La Liga, that he would be willing to stay at the club even if they were relegated this season.
Marca reports that Betis want to agree a new deal with the former Real Madrid stopper only a matter of weeks after he joined the club, but despite having spoken with his representatives, will delay talks until a better time.
But both parties are said to be happy with their situation and even if Betis to drop to the Segunda, Adan is expected to remain at the club, having played in every game since signing in at Estadio Benito Villamarin.
