Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has admitted that he would vote for Franck Ribery as Ballon d’Or winner.
The Bayern Munich winger is shortlisted alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for the FIFA award.
But the Polish forward has revealed that he would vote for the French winger as 2013’s best player.
“I’d vote for Ribéry,” he told Przeglądem Sportowym.
“Cristiano Ronaldo’s statistics are impressive – individually, he’s doing great things and setting new records.
“However, Ribéry offers more in defensive areas and helps the team a lot all over the pitch. And last season he won everything there was to win.”
