Villarreal midfielder Cani has signed a contract renewal on Sunday that will see him stay with the club until 2017.
The 32-year-old has been with the Yellow Submarine since 2006, where he has played over 300 games.
And the Madrigal team revealed today that the veteran had agreed an extension that will see him stay for another four years.
A Press conference has been scheduled for Monday.
