Argentina boss Alex Sabella could not hide his delight after Friday’s draw for next year’s World Cup in Brazil.
The South Americans have been placed alongside Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran and Nigeria in Group F and Sabella admitted his country have been treated favourably.
“It was a positive draw. I can’t say anything else, although football is football and you still need to play the games. But it could have been a lot worse,” he told gathered media.
“We must now begin to put together a more detailed study of our opponents.
“We’ve already seen Bosnia because we played them a short time ago, but we know very little of Iran.
“As for Nigeria, we know what the African teams are all about. We’ve come across in previous World Cups and they are very strong physically.”
