Villarreal striker Jonathan Pereira has insisted that the team are all ‘very excited’ about Marcelino’s contract renewal.
The Coach signed a two-year extension with the Yellow Submarine on Friday, tying himself to the Madrigal side until 2016.
And the forward has claimed that everyone is delighted with the news.
“The Coach’s work has been very good,” he told reporters. “We have accomplished many things with him at the helm.
“We are all happy that he will continue with us. Marcelino is probably the best Coach I have worked with.
“Hopefully we’ll get to spend a lot more time together.”
