Kevin Gameiro has been handed a boost with the news that he has not suffered a thigh strain and that he may only miss Sevilla’s next game.
It was speculated over the weekend that the Frenchman’s suspected strain on the adductor in his left thigh would be severe enough to rule him out for up to two weeks and importantly Sevilla’s Week 14 derby with Real Betis.
However, Los Nervionenses have reported today that tests have confirmed no break in the player’s muscle and that his injury is only enough to leave him as a doubt for Thursday’s Europa League test at home to Slovan Liberec.
His availability for that match will be determined based on the evolution of his recovery over the week.
