Leo Baptistao had to be stretchered out of Atletico Madrid’s training session today and initial tests suggest he has suffered a sprained ankle.
The Brazilian youngster went down during Wednesday morning’s workout after a collision with reserve goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.
Unable to put weight on his left ankle, the forward had to be stretchered off the training field.
Atleti have reported that initial indications are of a sprained ankle, but that Baptistao will undergo more detailed examinations over the course of the next day.
