Geronimo Rulli has reflected on his pride, but lack of knowledge, over recent transfer links with Barcelona.
With the Catalans known to be in the market for a new goalkeeper for 2014-15 in light of Victor Valdes’ decision to see out his contract, most recent reports have paired the club with a move for Rulli.
On the books at Estudiantes, the 21-year-old is highly rated in his homeland of Argentina and is reportedly seen as one of Barca’s considered candidates to come in.
“It is with pride that I have been linked with a team like Barcelona,” Sport report Gero, as he is known, writing through social networking.
“But I know nothing. It is important that I am seen elsewhere, but I will not deviate from my gaol, which is to be well for the next match with Atletico Rafaella.
“From Barcelona I know nothing, I have learned of this through the Press.”
