Diego Simeone has admitted that Atletico Madrid may sign some more players before the end of the transfer window.
The capital club have been linked with Fiorentina playmaker Adem Ljajic this afternoon, and the Coach has claimed that the door is still open for more signings.
“We are working on what the best way forward is for us,” he told a Press conference.
“Until the market is closed players could come and go. This is football and we are used to it.
“I do not want to talk about people who are not with us. But Ljajic is a great player.”
The Argentine tactician then commented on this weekend's clash with Sevilla and the contract renewal of Diego Costa.
“We just want to continue on the same line as last season. And to do this we have to win at Sevilla.
“We must start from scratch and look game-by-game.
“Sevilla are a different team from last year. They have bought well.
“I'm happy with Diego. It is great work from the club to keep him.
“I am looking forward to his enthusiasm and desire to improve.”
