West Ham United and Fulham are monitoring the progress of Real Betis midfielder Nosa Igiebor.
The 22-year-old has been the star of Los Beticos’ pre-season tour of England, so much so that the Hammers and Fulham, Betis’ last opponents, have both showed a tentative interest in bringing him to the Premier League.
Betis boss Pepe Mel believes that Igiebor – who appeared in just 16 La Liga games for the Andalusians last term in an injury-interrupted season – will be one of his key men this time around and will do everything in his power to keep the Nigerian international at the Benito Villamarin.
According to Marca, the interest from both London clubs is real, although it is highly unlikely Igiebor will leave this summer unless an irresistible offer is placed on the table.
