A poll in Catalan newspaper Sport has Jupp Heynckes as the fans’ favourite to take over at Barcelona.
The Bayern Munich Coach retired from the game this summer after guiding the Bavarian side to a historic treble last season.
But 37 per cent of Blaugrana supporters have voted for the 68-year-old to be the man to replace Tito Vilanova after he resigned on Friday following a cancer relapse.
Heynckes has had a distinguished career in Spain, managing Athletic Bilbao, Tenerife and Real Madrid.
Marcelo Bielsa is currently second in the poll.
