Chelsea have announced that they have agreed a deal with Sevilla to loan out for the 2013-14 season attacking midfielder Marko Marin.
The German-capped 24-year-old joined the London outfit last summer from Werder Bremen, but struggled through last season for first team football.
Subsequently, Jose Mourinho’s new team have agreed to send the player out on a developmental year to Sevilla, confirming an agreement has been reached on Friday.
“Chelsea and Sevilla have reached an agreement for the season-long loan of Marko Marin, subject to the completion of legal documentation and a medical,” read Chelsea’s official posting on the deal.
Marin would be Sevilla’s third arrival of the summer transfer market, following on from Romanian striker Raul Rusescu and young winger Jairo Samperio.
