Edinson Cavani has once again hinted at leaving Napoli. “Who could say no to Chelsea or Real Madrid?”
On Friday Partenopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed nobody has yet been able to match the €63m buy-out clause in the striker’s contract.
That doesn’t mean the top clubs won’t keep trying to tempt him into a sale, though.
“Who could say no to Chelsea or Real Madrid?” Cavani told newspaper ElPais. “Let us be honest, here.
“What do I know about my transfer? For the moment absolutely nothing. There is nothing concrete to report, only what you read in the newspapers, which is anything but official.
“Of course it’s wonderful for any player to be sought-after. Whoever does prove they have faith in my will have everything, but for the moment the only things surrounding me are rumours.”
