Jesus Navas believes that Spain played ‘with nobility and humility’ in heavily defeating Tahiti on Thursday night.
La Roja’s second Group B game of the Confederations Cup finished 10-0 in their favour, to leave them in a strong position to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament they are favourites to win.
“A final against Brazil at the Maracana would be a show,” admitted Navas when asked of the prospect post-match.
“We, in our own way, are intending to get to the final.
“The important thing against Tahiti was to win the three points to try and top the group and to do so with sportsmanship, respecting the opponent.
“We have played with nobility and humility, as always.”
