UEFA President Michel Platini believes that Spain U-21’s are the favourites for tonight’s European Championship final.
La Roja face Italy in the final of the Euros in Jerusalem on Tuesday, and the French administrator thinks that Julen Lopetegui’s should win, but the Azzurrini have what it takes to come out on top.
“From what I saw in the semi-finals Spain are slight favourites,” he told reporters. “But Italy have nothing to lose.
“No one expects the Azzurri to win, but they can do it.
“They are great offensively, but I have been around football long enough to know that nothing is decided until the final whistle.”
