Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala have denied they are interested in signing Roberto Soldado.
Recent Press reports have linked cash-rich Anzhi with a host of players, including the Valencia hitman and Inter Milan’s Fredy Guarin.
However, an official club statement from the Anzhi board has sought to dispel any rumours that the Dagestan club may be trying to bring either player to Russia.
“This information is without any consistency and we have had no contact with the agents of any of these footballers.
“The persistent use of Anzhi’s name in the form of rumours is a method certain representatives use to raise the price of their players,” it read.
