Joan Verdu is expected to announce at a Press conference tomorrow that he will leave Espanyol at the end of his contract this summer.
The playmaker has been in contract talks on and off through the season with Los Pericos, to extend beyond his current deal’s expiry this June.
However, with the club reportedly having not contacted the 30-year-old over his latest proposal, Verdu’s decision to call a Press conference on Thursday has speculation set that he will announce his departure.
The playmaker, who has been at Cornella-El Prat since 2009, has been linked previously with the likes of Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.
