Santos have reportedly indicated that they are willing to negotiate Neymar’s sale, if a bid of €50m comes in for their 55 per cent share.
The club share the player’s rights with investment group DIS, who have 40 per cent of the player and Teisa, who carry the remaining five per cent.
Globoesporte report that the 21-year-old, who has been increasingly linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid in recent months, even more so in the past few weeks, could be available, at a certain price.
The Brazilian outlet report that a source from Santos has informed them that an offer of €50m for their 55 per cent share in the player would see them happy to sit down and discuss a deal, provided an agreement could then be reached with Neymar’s other rights holders.
The player, who this morning was linked with Madrid, is believed to have a €70m buyout clause.
