Marcelo has told Real Madrid fans that the club’s players are the first ones dreaming of winning the 10th European Cup this season.
Los Blancos have focused resources in recent months on winning ‘La Decima’ and are currently anticipating a semi-final clash with Borussia Dortmund, starting April 24 in Germany.
“We’re fine, we are clear that we want to end this long wait, but we know that Borussia Dortmund are a very strong team,” Marcelo reflected to reporters at a publicity event today.
“We drew at the Bernabeu [in the group stages] and we know it will be very difficult because they are a great team.
“We have good feelings. The two teams are alike. They also attack a lot and in the way that we seem to attack.”
The full-back then reflected on where he sees Dortmund’s strength.
“Lewandowski is complicated, his name is hard to pronounce and he is a hard man to defend against, he is very quick and a talented forward.
“The whole team is very strong, we are not up against just one player, we will see what happens though because we are keen to reach the final.
“We are good and very motivated. We are together in the dressing room and it shows on the field. Many times I hear of La Decima.
“It is a dream for the fans, we are the first to dream of reaching the final and we will continue step by step. We have a great chance and we will see if we can do it.”
