Raul Gonzalez is optimistic that Real Madrid are on strong enough form to achieve their season objective of winning the Champions League.
The striker, who spent 16 years in the Madrid first team until 2010, reflected on the club’s focus on winning a coveted 10th European Cup this season.
This week Los Blancos face Galatasaray in the second leg of their quarter-final clash, with a 3-0 advantage.
“Madrid are on the right track and I hope that in the month of May comes La Decima, which is what all of us Madridstas want,” Raul told reporters in Qatar.
The 35-year-old was talking at a MotoGP event held at the weekend and was also asked for comment on Jose Mourinho’s future at Madrid.
“You'll have to ask him that.”
