Mario Gotze has left the door open on a possible move abroad in the future, naming Barcelona and Real Madrid as ‘attractive’ options.
The Borussia Dortmund attacking talent, who has impressed this term once more in the Bundesliga and Champions League, has hinted today that his future may lie away from German football.
“I'm keeping my options open,” Gotze confirmed in an interview with FIFA’s official website published today.
“Clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United are attractive, and playing in another top League would shape me and help me develop as a player.
“But I'm not thinking that far ahead at the moment. I'm happy in Germany and am delighted with the way things are going. Anything else is still a long way off.”
