Jose Angel has reflected on his continued struggles to break into the Real Sociedad side, commenting that he must accept the situation.
The 23-year-old is on a year-long loan from Italian side Roma but has barely featured this term under Philippe Montanier.
“How am I? I am good, but a bit odd, for the issue of not playing,” commented the left-back to Mundo Deportivo today.
“But it is what has been required of me until now. It has been the keynote of the whole season.
“Hopefully the team will continue as they have been and that I can still play a part.
“Of course I feel bad. These are circumstances of football. I cannot do anything. I have to keep training and working at 100 per cent.
“I will wait for my opportunities, which until now have been very few. These are decisions and I must accept them.
“Is this a lost year for me? It depends on how you look at it. As far as playing is concerned, it is a lost year.
“But this experience has made me stronger mentally. But however you train and prepare, you can achieve more if you play every week.”
