Nelson Valdez has insisted that Valencia will 'do it for the fans' as they look to come from behind against Paris Saint-Germain and reach the quarter-finals.
Los Che lost 2-1 to the French side last night at Mestalla, but a late goal from Adil Rami gives them some optimism of reaching the Champions League last eight, according to the Paraguayan striker.
“It is a really tough result and, honestly, things looked even worse for us,” he told Uefa.com.
“But that goal at the end not only gave us back a little pride, but it also added a sensation of hope.
“The tie is certainly not over.
“The fans were terrific tonight and again they demonstrated that they are amongst the best in the world at club level.
“It is up to us now to give them back some joy.”
