Athletic Bilbao defender Andoni Iraola is confident that goalkeeper Gorka Iraizoz will bounce back from fans' criticism.
The shot-stopper had come under-fire from supporters at the weekend after he was blamed for the club's 4-0 loss to Espanyol.
But Los Leones' vice-captain believes that the 31-year-old will come back stronger.
“Gorka has a lot of personality and will use the criticism to improve,” he told Mundo Deportivo.
“I'm sure he will learn from everything, good and bad, and take the positives.
“It was not the result we wanted, and obviously it was a huge disappointment to us.
“But we all have to be strong and come back as a team.”
