Vicente del Bosque is speculated today as unlikely to call up a replacement goalkeeper for Iker Casillas in his latest Spain squad.
The tactician, who today confirms his latest squad, is without the Real Madrid man after he suffered a fractured hand during his team’s Copa del Rey quarter-final in Valencia.
Whilst a number of alternatives are open to Del Bosque, it is believed that he will only name two goalkeepers in his squad to face Uruguay next week, rather than the usual three.
Without replacing Casillas in the squad, it is understood that only Roja regulars Pepe Reina and Victor Valdes will be called up and will compete for the No 1 shirt.
For the trip to Doha, Qatar next February 6 to face Copa America holders Uruguay, Del Bosque will reportedly name a 19 or 20-man Seleccion, with Isco, Aritz Aduriz and Michu speculated as holding a chance to be included.
