Mourinho calls up Kaka, Morata

Ricky Kaka and Alvaro Morata are the notable players included in Real Madrid’s squad for tonight’s Clasico with Barcelona.

Jose Mourinho has called up Castilla forward Morata and Brazilian Kaka as part of a 19-man squad for Wednesday evening’s Copa del Rey semi-final first leg at home to Barca.

Although without Angel Di Maria through suspension, Mourinho was speculated as leaving out Kaka in anticipation of a January exit.

However, his inclusion sees Spanish outlets suggesting that any proposed transfer out of the Bernabeu in midseason is looking unlikely.

Sergio Ramos, Fabio Coentrao, Pepe and Iker Casillas are all absent through suspension or injury, but there is space for Marcelo to return.

Real Madrid squad to face Barcelona: Adan, Diego Lopez, Jesus, Arbeloa, Marcelo, Albiol, Varane y Carvalho, Modric, Alonso, Khedira, Ozil, Kaka, Callejon, Essien, Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain, Morata
