Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Gorka Iraizoz has conceded that the club are disappointed about their start to the season.
Los Leones are currently 14th in the table and have been knocked out the Europa League and the Copa del Rey in the early stages.
And the 31-year-old has claimed that everyone at San Mames is disappointed.
“The expectations have been set at a high place, and that's a positive because we have shown what we can do,” he told AS.
“So everyone is a little sad and disappointed about what has happened.”
He then commented on Lionel Messi's Ballon d'Or win and Vicente Del Bosque's Coach of the year award.
“Both were deserving of their prizes,” he said. “They work every day at being the best on and off the field.”
