Atletico Madrid forward Adrian Lopez has insisted that the team will endeavour to maintain the impressive form that has seen them sit second in La Liga.
Diego Simeone's side have won 13 of their first 17 games in the League this term, and are just nine points behind leaders Barcelona in the table.
And the 24-year-old has claimed that they will give everything to topple the Blaugrana, starting with a win over Real Mallorca on Sunday.
“It will be a difficult game,” he told AS. “They need the points and will be playing at home – we know it's going to be tough.
“We think we're on the right path. The Coach has always insisted that we take each game as it comes. Every match is important for us.
“The dynamic within the team has always been good. We hope that this continues and we play at the best level we can.
“We will try to get as far as we can in every competition. The hardest thing is to keep that level up all year, but we will work hard.”
