Barcelona will face a Champions League reunion with Milan, whilst Real Madrid have drawn Manchester United in the Last 16.
Barca, who were in the draw today as winners of Group G, will face Italians Milan in the Last 16, who were runners up in Malaga’s Group C.
This meeting is between two sides who faced each other four times in last year’s edition of the Champions League, with the Catalans and Rossoneri sharing a group stage before then crossing swords in 2011-12’s quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid will face off against Manchester United in another mouth-watering Last 16 clash. Los Merengues last faced the English team in the 2002-03 quarter-finals of the competition, when a Ronaldo hat-trick at Old Trafford helped decide the tie 6-5 in the Spaniards’ favour.
Valencia have been handed a tough tie with a two-legged encounter against big-spending Paris Saint-Germain, whilst Malaga, in their first Champions League campaign, will meet Portuguese champions Porto.
Group runners up including Real Madrid and Valencia will play the first legs of their ties at home. The first legs of the Last 16 ties will be played across February 12, 13, 19 and 20 and the second legs across March 5, 6, 12 and 13.
