Valencia and Atletico Madrid strolled through against Llagostera and Real Jaen to reach the last 16 of the Copa del Rey.
Mauricio Pellegrino’s side defeated the third tier team 3-1 at Mestalla as goals from Adil Rami, Nelson Valdez and Juan Bernat gave them a 5-1 aggregate win.
In the capital, Diego Simeone’s men overcame the Andalusian minnows 1-0 after Raul Garcia’s early strike completed the win, 4-0 overall.
Getafe also saw off lower league opposition with a 4-0 win over Ponferradina, despite the scoreline on the night remaining 0-0.
And Levante also got through, with a 4-1 victory against Melilla. Nikolaos Karabelas, Roger, Michel and Vicente Iborra saw them win comfortably at Ciutat de Valencia, 4-2 on aggregate.
The late kick-offs are Barcelona – Alaves and Espanyol – Sevilla.
