Espanyol winger Simao Sabrosa is looking for a way out of Cornella El-Prat in January, according to AS.
The Portugal international has only featured three times for Mauricio Pochettino’s men following his free transfer from Turkish outfit Besiktas in the summer, and has played just 133 minutes.
The 32-year-old has not been included in Pochettino’s squad for the last two games and is believed to be willing to forgo part of the money he is owed by Los Pericos if he is allowed to leave.
To this end, both Simao and his agent have initiated moves to find a solution before the next transfer market, with the former Barcelona, Benfica and Atletico Madrid man understood to welcome a move back to his native Portugal.
