Sergio Ramos has apparently used Real Madrid's pre-match meeting to apologise to his teammates for any disruption he has caused.

The Merengues are in Amsterdam to take on Ajax in the Champions League. AS claim that Ramos said sorry to his colleagues and reaffirmed his faith in Coach Jose Mourinho.

The Spanish international was recently dropped by Mourinho for his behaviour in the aftermath of the 1-0 loss to Sevilla.

On Sunday against Deportivo La Coruna he was played at right back and wore Mesut Ozil's jersey under his own, which many interpreted as an affront to the Portuguese tactician.

Ramos starts tonight's game in his preferred centre-back position.
