Bojan Krkic has declared at his unveiling as a Milan player that he felt mistreated during his time with Roma.
The young Spaniard, who signed for the Rossoneri this week on a 12-month loan deal, is set to be automatically bought next year by either Barcelona or Roma in one of two clauses in their original transfer agreement signed in 2011.
However, it is looking less likely to be the Giallorossi, where he spent the previous season at, as the player explained at his presentation by Milan today.
“My relationship with Roma was weird from the beginning. I didn't get to play much. I didn't reach an agreement with Roma, and then Milan offered me the opportunity to play.
“It's an honour for me to be here. I am here at Milan to stay. I want to do well here and help the team. I am here for a year, but I want to stay after my loan deal expires next summer.
“It has been incredible for me since day one. The players here have really given me a great welcoming.”
The 22-year-old hinted that he could be joined at San Siro by an unnamed former teammate from Barcelona.
“Someone from Barca said that he wants to join Milan, I can't say who it is though. I often speak with my former team mates there, and they're all very happy for me.
“Barca have given me a lot, both on and off the pitch. All these things will help me stay at a great club like Milan.”
