Real Mallorca boss Joaquin Caparros said he was happy to have come away from La Rosaleda with a point after the 1-1 draw with Malaga.
The Islanders went in front through Tomer Hemed’s 67th minute header only for substitute Juanmi to equalise for the Costa del Sol club 10 minutes later, yet Caparros claimed he was delighted with the result.
“I am happy, more than happy, with the point,” he told a Press conference afterwards.
“It was a very valuable draw because it was one of those games where either side could have won.
“We had our chances in the first half but were unable to convert them, although we didn’t see too much of the ball.”
The Andalusia-born Coach feels Los Bermellones will do well in their upcoming games if he can get the best out of his squad.
“I’m very pleased with the effort my players put in. Now we have to play to our strengths and make the best of the tempo we play at and our speed.
“However, tonight it was very hot and difficult,” he added.
