Getafe defender Miguel Torres believes he requires no extra motivation to play against Real Madrid tomorrow.
The 26-year-old [pictured, right] acknowledges it will be a special occasion against his former club, with whom he came through the youth academy and made over 50 La Liga appearances.
“It’s true it is a very special match. I will up against the team where I started aged eight and I don’t need any motivation,” he told a Press conference.
“Besides, it is our first home game of the season and we will have to be at our best to win because it won’t be easy.
“I think Real are a club where there are no bad times. Because of their history and tradition there is no thought of losing, and as they didn’t win their opening fixture they will definitely be coming here for the three points.”
However, Torres maintained his own team will be going all out for the win after their own defeat on the first day at Sevilla.
“Our boss [Luis Garcia Plaza] is the first one to motivate us and demands that we treat every single game with the importance it deserves.
“Real Madrid are coming and it will be a difficult game for us, but we are going to do our best to take all three points ourselves,” he added.
