Reports suggest that Dani Guiza may be on his way to Malaga, as Getafe line up a replacement in former adversary Luca Toni.
The Madrid side are strongly linked with dispensing of at least one of their current forward-line selection, with Guiza thought likeliest to leave.
Malaga are, according to AS, lining up a loan bid for the 21-times capped Spaniard and would reportedly be able to secure him on an initial temporary deal paying only half of his €1.5m salary.
Guiza’s departure is then understood to free space for the Azulones to bring in Italian Toni, who according to reports in Italy, is available on a free and on the verge of an agreement with the club.
However, AS are also running the line that curiously there is a slight reluctance to sign the 35-year-old, for the fact that he scored Bayern Munich’s late extra-time goals in the 2008 UEFA Cup that defeated Getafe.
