Espanyol are ready to dip into the market again before its close with a loan offer for Napoli’s young winger Eduardo Vargas.
The Chilean [pictured, centre] joined the Italians in the last winter transfer window, but has been linked with a temporary switch out of the club six months on so as to gain experience.
Catalans Espanyol are reportedly keen to take advantage and are, according to La Tercera, preparing a €400,000 offer to take the 22-year-old for the duration of 2012-13, which would also see the Spanish agree to pay a majority of his €1.2m salary.
Espanyol are considering their options in the market in light of the uncertainty surrounding Alvaro Vazquez’s future at the club, as he delays on signing a new contract.
