An Alvaro Negredo penalty proved the difference between Sevilla and Getafe on Saturday night.
The home side controlled proceedings for much of the first half and took the lead through Fazio’s header from a corner.
Controversy surrounded the penalty then awarded to Sevilla just minutes later, when Jose Antonio Reyes appeared to go down under minimal contact.
However, after a delay, Negredo stepped up to convert the spot-kick. Getafe later pulled one back for the visitors in the second half, as Alexis Rueno ghosted in at a corner to convert.
