Mauricio Pellegrino believes Valencia are capable of getting a result this weekend against Real Madrid, suggesting that no-one wants to start against Los Che.
The new Coach begins life in the dugout for his former side with a tough trip to the Santiago Bernabeu. However, as his players Sofiane Feghouli and Ricardo Costa have already alluded to, Los Che won’t be going to the capital just to make up the numbers, whilst new signing Nelson Valdez could feature.
“Valdez brings to our games pace and that’s an advantage for us. He has experience and he is available to play,” revealed Pellegrino today.
“I am thinking more about what we are going to do rather than what we can make Real do. I imagine a tough game, it will be a game of one on ones.
“Two teams with many international players who are used to these games, they have to make an effort.
“It will be a tough game, but we have our style of play and our weapons. Nobody would want to start the season against Valencia.”
