Arsenal are still in discussions with Barcelona over a move for Alex Song, but the clubs cannot agree a valuation.
The Blaugrana were reported last week to have mounted a first official bid for the 24-year-old, who despite having three years left on his Gunners deal, is understood to be happy to leave.
The Spaniards apparently offered somewhere in the region of €15m for the midfielder, but according to the London Evening Standard, Arsenal are unwilling to move from their initial asking price of €23m.
Even so, it is understood that the two parties are continuing talks over the Cameroonian international’s future.
