Luka Modric will reportedly fly out to Madrid tomorrow ahead of completing a £23.5m move to Real Madrid.
The Tottenham midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to the Spanish capital this summer, declaring his intention to leave White Hart Lane and failing to initially take part in pre-season training at the club.
Los Blancos have long been thought to be the only interested party during this transfer window and, after apparently agreeing to send Nuri Sahin out to Liverpool on loan, look to have agreed a deal for the Croatian to immediately come in.
Sky Sports News are reporting that after taking part in Wednesday evening’s international friendly between Croatia and Switzerland, the 26-year-old will jet out to Spain to finalise an agreement on the move.
