Granada are being linked with Mexican winger Javier Aquino, reports Granada Hoy.
The 22-year-old plays for Cruz Azul and is currently representing his country at the London Olympics and has helped them to Saturday’s final against Brazil at Wembley.
Aquino has so far proved one of the revelations of the tournament, having played a total of 435 minutes over five games and scoring in the 4-2 extra-time victory over Senegal
in the quarter-finals.
According to his representative, Aquino’s arrival at Los Carmenes is dependent upon El Grana’s partner club Udinese, who would like to bring him to Europe and immediately loan him to the Andalusian outfit.
Aquino is a product of Cruz Azul’s youth academy and in 2011 was part of the Mexico team that won the Pan-American Games after beating Argentina 1-0 in the final, and also took part in the Copa America the same year.
