A report in Marca claims that Italian striker Filippo Inzaghi could end up playing in La Liga with Granada next season.
The Pozzo family, owners of Udinese, Granada and Watford, are interested it taking the 38-year-old to one of their clubs before he decides to call time on his playing career, and Granada director of football Juan Carlos Cordero appeared to confirm the Andalusians have been offered the player.
“There are players who are free agents and they have been suggested to us, like many other clubs, but other than that I cannot talk about it,” Cordero replied, when asked if there was a likelihood Inzaghi could be on his way to Los Carmenes.
Inzaghi has recently said he would like to continue playing for at least one more season and is believed to have a preference to return to former club Atlanta over the summer, yet a move abroad could appeal at this stage of his career, with Watford boss Gianfranco Zola also keen to take him to England.
