Bayern Munich director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is confident that Colombian international James Rodriguez will remain at the club next season.
The 27 year-old is coming to the end of a two year loan in Bavaria from Real Madrid, with his parent club happy for his contract to expire this summer after a inconsistent five year association with Los Blancos.
Bayern have not stated their official position on signing the former Monaco player, but Rummenigge is confident a deal can be done.
"I am confident James Rodriguez will be at Bayern Munich next season.
"Niko Kovac values him, and their relationship is good.
"Personally I am a massive fan of James."
