Valencia forward Simone Zaza has been linked with a return to Italy as Torino monitor his situation, according to reports in Spain.
The 26-year-old has scored five La Liga goals already this season including a hat-trick against Malaga last week and the winner at Real Sociedad on Sunday.
Now Marca report he is being scouted and tracked by the Turin-based club who have set him as their number one target to replace Andrea Belotti, who may leave in January or next summer.
After an unhappy stint at West Ham, the Italy international moved to Los Che on an initial loan deal from Juventus in January for €2m with the obligatory €16m purchase completed in July.
The report concludes that Zaza is happy in Valencia ‘but the market is the market’ and he may be persuaded to cut short his stint in Spain.
