Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema was involved in another car accident on Friday but escaped unharmed.
El Mundo explains Benzema’s Audi RS6 was hit from behind by a Nissan Note on the M-13 motorway in Madrid.
Fortunately, both drivers did not suffer any injuries, while there were no traces of alcohol in their bloodstreams.
The Frenchman was involved in a similar incident earlier in the year, on the Caribbean island of Reunion, and crashed into barriers in the Madrid municipality of Pozuelo de Alarcon in 2009 – the same year as his arrival from Olympique Lyonnais.
He was also detained by police for the third time in 2013 for driving without a valid licence.
Benzema missed Los Blancos’ 2-1 win at Alaves over the weekend with a hamstring injury but recently signed a new contract until 2021.
