Zinedine Zidane has wished Alvaro Morata ‘all the luck in the world’ as he expressed regret the Spain international left ‘his home’ to join Chelsea.
The 24-year-old has agreed a switch to the English champions worth a reported €85m after a season in which he often cited a lack of playing time at the Bernabeu.
"We wish him all the luck in the world – except against Madrid," Zidane is quoted as saying by Marca.
"In the end, we know that this is his home, he has been here all his whole life.
"He has to make decisions and so he has decided to go to another club.
"Ronaldo? He's on vacation, he deserves it, we'll wait for him; he's going to stay with us and that's it."
