Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo wants more individual and team trophies after picking up his fourth Golden Boot award.
Ronaldo was presented with the prize at a ceremony in Madrid after ending last season as Europe’s highest scorer, with the Portuguese ambassador, Florentino Perez, Rafa Benitez, his teammates and some fans present.
“I want to thank everyone who has come here. This is a beautiful moment in my sporting life. To receive my fourth Golden Boot is an honour and a privilege,” he said, AS reports.
“This trophy is very important to me and I have to thank my teammates and all the people who have helped me. It’s a special moment.
“I’m not satisfied. I want more. I want the fifth and sixth [Golden Boots] if possible. I know it’s difficult.
“I want to win the League, the Champions League and if possible the Copa del Rey. We’ll see each other again, I hope, next year.”
