Galatasaray will be Real Madrid’s opponents in the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy on August 18.
The Turkish giants had long been tipped to be the team in question, and Los Blancos have now corroborated these claims on their official website.
Madrid last contested the trophy in 2013, when they beat Raul Gonzalez’s former club Al Sadd, and faced Gala two years prior.
Consequently, this will be Madrid’s final match before their La Liga curtain-raiser against Sporting Gijon.
